Duraflex Looks for Technical Advancements to Help Automate Operations Management

The electronic data tracking is an entirely new path for Duraflex and is very excited for what possibilities lie ahead with the new capabilities.

Duraflex was also proud to hire their newest employee ( Ryan Bayfield). Ryan will now be the company’s Business Process Analyst. With all the innovation going on at Duraflex they have had to work hard on maintaining their foundational priorities; people, process, and principles.

ERP

Duraflex International decided to take the plunge into the world of ERPs. E2 is the companies new Enterprise Resource Planning. The Executive Team thought 2020 was the ideal time to implement this new system despite the numerous market challenges. The thought process behind choosing this time to begin using an entirely new system was because they wanted to take advantage of the overall slowdown in the market due to the Global Pandemic.

The Entire Duraflex Team had to take time out of their schedule to help and make the transition as smooth as possible. The 2-month lock down did not help in the implementation process either. Duraflex planned on going live with E2 at the start of the year. And at some points that date did not look realistic. But thanks to late nights and early mornings from Duraflex staff helped make the final push to allow for 2021 to be the launch date. Thousands of inventory inputs, thousands of price checks, and countless production procedure data points had to be imputed into the new software. Although the transition was not perfect, it will be more than worth it moving forward.
